Trailer: Slice & Dice Mobile Game
This is a mock trailer for the game “Slice & Dice.” The vertical, script-less format is intended for an App Store. Editing was done using DaVinci Resolve.

The video cuts were synced to music from the game’s soundtrack, “Veteran of 1000 Rolls,” and signal a sense of fast-paced action. The cut footage intends to show what it is like to play yourself, as well as hinting to other aspects of the game (monster catalogue with locked icons, the achievements page).

The graphic images are to accompany the trailer in an app store. I used the pixelated font 1UP to match the nostalgic arcade pixel-arcade vibe of “Slice & Dice.” Yellow looked striking against the warm and dark colors of the game.
