A piece on Long Island’s little local celebrity, then-Sophomore Elizabeth Arjiro. She had created a wildly popular club in a single semester, with massively successful collaborations with organizations like the Red Cross and Girls Who Code, and people had started taking notice — who was she? Her club, that was for Origami of all things, had suddenly gotten the attention of the entire student body and of national organizations.

I ask her about how this happened, why, and her outlook on the club’s future.
